Strengthening Civil Society

This report examines the contemporary legal framework and examines how it has been used to address racial injustice in the UK in four areas (criminal justice, education, healthcare and employment), highlighting some of the successes and drawing out challenges and opportunities for civil society and lawyers who work in this area.

It was commissioned by the Baring Foundation and written by Dr Bharat Malkani, a Senior Lecturer in the Law Department in the School of Law and Politics at Cardiff University.
