This page provides information for current grantholders on reporting and about using our logo and acknowledging our funding.

Reporting

All grantees will receive an Offer Letter at the start of the grant containing the following instructions:

  • To send us your full audited accounts and Annual Report as soon as they are available.
  • To complete, sign and return the Acceptance of Grant Offer Form.
  • To inform us when expenditure on the project is due to commence, in order to trigger the first instalment of the grant.

When you have informed us that you are ready to begin expenditure, you will receive a Payment Letter. This will contain information on reporting, including the date of the next report due and the reporting guidelines.

Grants of 12 months or less will require one final report. Grants of 12 months or more will require an annual report in order to fulfil our due diligence requirements and release the next instalment of the grant.

Please email your reports to our general email address not to Foundation staff emails. This way, we can guarantee that your report will reach our trustees by the deadline.

Do contact us if you require further clarification about your reporting requirements and we will be happy to advise.

Communications

We would be grateful for an acknowledgement of the funding in any communications you produce about the work which the Baring Foundation is directly supporting, including any publications and websites.

New grant-holders will receive our Logo Guidelines and Communications Guidance.

Please do use our logo on work we are supporting – we have logos for print and digital available. Please contact us to request the format you need. Our Logo Guidelines provide information on how to use our logo.
