Details

This new report captures some of the projects funded by the joint Arts Council England/Baring Foundation ‘Celebrating Age’ fund for creative ageing which ran from 2017 to 2022.

The fund totalled £3 million and was increased by further grants from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) for work to tackle loneliness in the pandemic. Thirty-two grants were given over three to four years. The fund focused on older people less likely to be taking part in creative and cultural activities, and required arts organisations to partner with non-arts organsiations, such as libraries, older people’s organisations and care homes.
