The programme will support cultural spaces and other organisations working collaboratively, in a partnership or as a consortium.

Celebrating Age is a joint Arts Council England/Baring Foundation fund, which supports partnerships between arts and older people’s organisations.

The programme will support cultural spaces and other organisations working collaboratively, in a partnership or as a consortium, to:

  • Support arts and cultural spaces to be open, positive and welcoming places for older people
  • Take arts and culture into places where older people will find it easier to engage.

Partnerships or consortia may include those between cultural organisations and also between cultural and non-arts organisations. Lead applicants must be Arts Council funded.

Full details of the programme criteria and application schedule are available on Arts Council England’s website. The deadline for initial Expressions of Interest is 31 August 2017.

The first round of Celebrating Age grants were awarded in February – see here for some of the successful projects.
