This short volume was produced to celebrate Foundation’s 50th anniversary year in March 2019.
It seeks to tell the story of the Foundation and its grantmaking in the context of the wider flows and eddies of the voluntary sector in the UK over the last fifty years.
It is illustrated by woodcutter Hilary Paynter, who was commissioned as part of the Foundation’s Late Style programme for older artists in 2014.
