Details

This new report captures the inspiring work of 23 organisations which received funding from the Foundation, designed to support the careers of Global Majority artists working in arts and mental health and make creative mental health interventions more available to people living with mental health problems in Global Majority communities.

This funding initiative was underpinned by the conclusions of our first report on this topic, Creatively Minded and Ethnically Diverse in 2021, and the views of many people in the sector that artists, and participants, from racially minoritised communities were underrepresented in creative mental health and that this needed addressing.

The report includes commentary and analysis by the Foundation’s Arts Advisers, Sabra Khan and Daniel Regan.
