In 2024, the Baring commissioned an independent evaluation by Thinking Practice (Mark Robinson with Imogen Blood and Lorna Easterbrook) of the first five years of our Arts and Mental Health programme.
Over the period, the programme has given £6,173,696 through 212 grants (and 71 via partnerships) to support creative opportunities for people living with mental health problems. You can read the evaluators’ conclusions and recommendations for the next five years in the report below and in an accompanying blog.
The evaluators used the Most Significant Change methodology – all the stories collected are also available to read in a separate document.
