Love in a cold climate – creativity in care in Finland: UK & Ireland tour!

Join us on 9 September for a special event on arts, culture and creativity in care in Finland
Arts

In 2021, the Baring Foundation published a report (called Love in a cold climate) which profiled inspiring examples of arts and creativity with older people in Finland.

We are delighted that four Finnish creative ageing experts & contributors to that report will be touring the UK and Ireland in the first week of September 2022 (5-9 September) to share their work, stopping in Dublin, Edinburgh, Cardiff and London.

The focus of the events will be culture, arts and creativity in care homes, including how the social care and arts sectors can work together. Representatives from care homes and care home bodies, arts organisations, artists, arts and social policy-makers, and all others interested in supporting creative lives in older age are welcome to attend!

The London event will take place on 10am-12 noon on Friday 9 September at the:

Finnish Institute in London
3 York Way
#Unit 1
London
N1C 4AE
