Invitation to tender to provide a sector support body for creative ageing for England – closed

We are seeking bids to form a sector support body to act as an advocate for the creative ageing sector in England, encouraging awareness and innovation.

The Foundation is seeking applications by 14 May 2019 to undertake work as the sector support body for arts and older people activity in England. The body will act as an advocate for this work, encouraging awareness and innovation.

The sum available is up to £250,000 in total, including VAT if applicable. Activity is expected to last for three years.

The overall purpose for the sector support body will be to increase the quantity and quality of arts activity by and with older people in England. Specific objectives will be to:

  • advocate the value of creative ageing activity to a variety of audiences including organisations working in the fields of the arts and older people’s services;
  • maintain or increase funding for this work for the sector;
  • influence policy development on creative ageing.

The tender application must come from an established organisation with a strong reputation in the field of creative ageing and ability to support the sector. However, that lead organisation may work with other organisations or individuals to undertake this work.
